(Jan. 31, 2022) Aussie Grill, a Tampa-based fast-casual restaurant in the Bloomin’ Brands Inc. portfolio, will open its new freestanding location, which includes drive-thru service, on Feb. 7 in south Fort Myers. The spot at 12916 S. Cleveland Ave. is the site of the former Boston Market, a stone’s throw away from the Outback Steakhouse on Cleveland Avenue.
Established in 2019, Aussie Grill has six other locations in Florida in Brandon, Clearwater, Lutz, New Port Richey and Tampa. The creation by chef Efrem Cutler boasts scratch-made sandwiches, burgers, large plates, salad and a 7-ounce center-cut sirloin cooked in a matter of 4 minutes.
Aussie Grill is hosting a Taste Adventure grand prize giveaway, offering six guests a chance to win free Aussie Grill for a year. The new restaurant is also partnering with Make-A-Wish Southern Florida, which will receive 50% of sales up to $5,000 from the opening day.
